Riotorto, the village suspended in time

A stone’s throw from Pappasole, lies this small village hidden among the olive trees, Riotorto.

This small hamlet is the closest inhabited centre. It is very famous for those who live in the area and for those who come from time to time, thanks to its festivals, among which the Carciofo festival stands out.

It boasts an ideal location because it is only a few kilometres from the sea and has the Montioni park behind it. It almost seems to be a perfect picture of what you would expect from a holiday in Tuscany.

This town is located halfway between three different municipalities: Follonica, Piombino and Venturina.

Follonica, on the other hand, offers waterfront walks and attractions for all tastes. For years it has been considered the ideal destination for holidays with children, thanks to its fine sandy beaches and gently sloping sea water.
