Our Story

From there, the spark that ignited everything was born: where there had once been only wide stretches of fields, the idea took shape of creating a “home by the sea” for all those who lived far away.

The idea of Pampaloni and his wife was visionary and laid the foundations of the philosophy on which the property continues to evolve today: a Camping Village featuring pitches and bungalows, with a lush green area separating the commercial area and reception from the camping area.

A small paradise for holidaymakers that Mrs. Elena decided to name Pappasole, inspired by the hills located in the inland area near the campsite.

Over the years, the various boards of directors that followed promoted significant infrastructural development, increasingly enriching and diversifying the offer for guests. Just to mention a few examples: as early as 1996, private bathroom facilities were introduced on the pitches, a true innovation at the time compared to competitors and still highly appreciated by campers today. Also worth mentioning are the expansion of the pool area, the construction of sports fields and the introduction of more modern and comfortable masonry bungalows.

In this major process of structural growth, an important role was also played by Fabrizio Mattii, for many years managing director and a key reference point for Baldassini.
